CT Oceania was started in 1998 to differentiate the Integration Business (Niatek) from the Supply and Sales Business. CT Oceania started out as the Australian Distributor for CTI PLC’s (the replacement for Siemens 505) and the FasTrak Software (505 Workshop) used to Program the PLC’s. During these early years of the business there became a growing need for ethernet communications with HMI’s, this is where the beginning of the relationship with Parker started. Parker had a touchscreen (HMI) that could communicate with the CTI PLC and ethernet communications. From here Parker would go onto acquire Eurotherm and SSD (Variable Speed Drives Manufacturers). This would then enable CT Oceania to sell and use the Parker Branded VSD’s to run in conjunction with the CTI PLC and Parker HMI’s.
With this early success with Parker the relationship building greater and greater that by the early 2010’s CT Oceania became a Parker Premier Distributor (PPD) one of the highest levels of partnerships available. CT Oceania now supplies and sells all the range of Parker Products with a big focus still on the Electromechanical (HMIs/Drives) but also Hydraulics, Hose and Fittings, Filtration, Pneumatics, Sealings and Process Control.
During this period of growth CT Oceania was diversifying to become a One Stop Automation Shop. Over the years we have tried to Partner with the best suppliers of Automation Equipment. We have frequently partnered with PILZ Safety, Leuze Sensors and Safety, Balluff Control Equipment and Sick Sensors giving our clients a huge range of choice to find the best solution necessary for their factories and projects.
CT Oceania is always looking to utilise the best quality products and most up to date technology in the ever-expanding Industry 4.0.
