Which sectors / industries do CTO service?
As a Parker Premier Distributor and the only Australian/ New Zealand Distributor for CTI we cover pretty much every industry that uses automation equipment. We have clients in Agriculture, Mining, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage and more.
As a distributor of automation equipment, do CTO offer after market support?
Yes, we offer after market support for all products we supply. We have Sales Engineers and System Integrators on hand to help you with before, during and after sales.
Do you have a warehouse that we can come to? Or are you just an onlne sales company?
CT Oceania’s head office is in Murarrie, Brisbane. You are more than welcome to come by and discuss your needs.
What stock levels do you have?
CTO stocks an extensive amount of high volume items. If there is something you would like us to stock please don’t hesitate to get into contact with our friendly team.
Can CTO offer full turn key packages with supply and integration?
Yes, CTO can offer full control system packages from supply all the way through to integration. From CTI PLC’s, Hydraulic Block Pumps and Hoses from Parker to Safety and Sensors from Leuze Sensors, Pilz Safety and Balluff Transducers/Sensors we can supply and program it all.
Parker Questions
Do you make your own Parker hoses?
Yes, Although we aren’t an Enzed dealer we have the equipment and trained personnel to make hoses. We currently make hydraulic hoses up to 2″ and 6000psi for our customers.
Do Parker Make and Supply Filters?
Parker is one of the biggest manufacturers of Filters in the World. Racor and Baldwin filters are made by Parker since the acquisiton of Clarcor in 2016. CTO has a wide range of filters stocked in their warehouse.
Can you supply 4MA Cylinders?
Due to the high demand in one of our industries we have partnered with Parker to become a build centre for 4MA Cylinders with a turn around usually within 3 days.
CTI Questions
Our Systems Integrators told us that Siemens 505 and 500 Series were obsolete and we would need to replace them?
CTI took over from Siemens for making 505 and 500 series modules. In the 2000’s CTI had developed replacement cards for both Siemens Series 505 modules as well as 500 modules which includes an adaptor (2500 Series). This series is not obsolete and will continue to be supported and developed into the future. We also have a conversion tool to determine which replacement part is required. Does CTI product have chip supply issues?
There have been no real effects to supply due to the modules being manufactured in the USA.
How often should a Power Supply be changed?
Power supplies should be changed every 7-10 years for a processor or when a new processor is installed and every 10-15 years for remote base rack.
Can you program CTI 2500 series (Siemens 505) using the IEC 61131-3 Languages
CTI has developed and released the Janus CPU which can be programmed in any of the IEC Languages using the new Workbench Software. The new CPU is still backward compatible with existing IO.
